INTERACT partner LMS participated in Industrial Technologies 2016 event in Amsterdam, the largest networking conference in the field of new production technologies, materials, nanotechnology, biotechnology and digitalisation in Europe. A lot of people both from industry and academia had the chance to discuss INTERACT results with LMS people.

INTERACT partner IMI (Institute of Media Informatics/Ulm University) released the FusionKit a low-cost tracking system based on multiple Kinect v2 time-of-flight cameras, which enables markerless body tracking as well as marker-based object tracking for a broad range of HCI and tracking scenarios.

INTERACT participated in ICT 2015 event in Lisbon with an exhibition booth. Visitors had the chance to get more insight into project results.

INTERACT pilot trial @ Electrolux

INTERACT RTD partners EMPHASIS, HADATAP, imi and LMS together with Electrolux personnel had a 3-days workshop in early September 2015 in Electrolux premises to test the performance of INTERACT sensing system and recognition system. The first trial of Interact technology in the field provided a thorough understanding of the field constraints as well as the user requirements. Also revealed the technical issues that should be addressed during the following months in order to have successful final tests.

INTERACT 5th Consortium Meeting

On 15-16 April 2015 the 5th INTERACT consortium meeting took place in Saarbrucken, Germany hosted by IMI. The objective of the meetings were:

Live demo and assessment of project M18 software and hardware prototypes.
